Welcome to our online service on Good Friday, 10th April 2020

To prepare for this time, pray that you would be struck again by the events we particularly remember today.

Read Isaiah 52:13-53:12

The Lord Jesus Christ gave his life for us at the cross. How great is his love for us!

Confession of sin: - say it slowly, pausing after each line:
Father,
We have sinned against you and are not worthy to be called your children.
We turn to you again and pray that you would have mercy on us.
Please bring us back to yourself as those who once were dead, but now have life through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Prayer
Spend some time in prayer giving thanks for the Gospel!
And pray that in this time of national emergency, many would come and find life through the Lord Jesus!

It was a dark day, but we call it Good Friday. What was shockingly evil was used by God for the greatest good! This is Amazing Grace!

Benediction: Ephesians 3:17-21
I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Do think about ringing someone else in the church family to encourage them this Sunday with the news that Christ has died for us!
